The Russell County Junior Leaders Report: March 2016

The regular monthly meeting of the Russell County Junior Leaders was held on January 1, 2016 at 7:00 pm in the Russell County 4-H Building.

The meeting was called to order by Vice President Katherine Krauss.

Then, Secretary Delainey Pospichal called roll, which was answered by “What is your favorite hobby?” There were 10 members present. Delainey then read the February minutes, which were approved as read. The Community Service Committee reminded everyone of the plans for the roadside clean up.

Under Old Business, the Junior Leaders discussed ideas for Mini Discovery Days, which has been renamed to 4-H Day Camp. They also discussed more ideas for an Intrastate 4-H Exchange.

There was no New Business.

They ended the meeting with a short presentation by Caden Pfeifer called “The Great Discovery.” The meeting was then adjourned. The next meeting will take place on April 24, 2016, at Farm Bureau.
